I put myself in Jesus' hands

he gently held me there,

He touched my brow and kissed my cheek

this is a new and wonderful day,

its early and already we've had a thunder storm,

but it passed,

there's been rain,now thick fog,

but that shall pass also,

beneath all off that the sun is shining,

Winters icy days has  passed

hope of spring is here at last,   

all of nature lives again

nurtured by the sun and rain.

The Robin with its scarlet breast

search for twigs to build its nest,

soon the gardens will be filled

with crocus and with daffodils.

The once dead trees again will live

their shade and shelter they will give,

we welcome bees and butterflies

as soft white clouds flow  idly by.

All off Gods creatures big and small

ones that run and ones that crawl

will carry on their busy days

with food to gather ,young to raise.

We think of God and our praise we bring

our lips will smile our hearts will sing,

we thank you Lord for everything

especially for the gift of spring....

they can make friends of enemies

they can make strangers friends

they can bring communities together

Into the night she walks,warily she treads,

her spike heels clicks on the hard cement,

she stops,she glimpses a figure in the harsh glow

of the street light,

you wanna a good time mister?,she asks,

somewhere deep inside she prays,let the answer be no.

she don't want to do this anymore,"but"what then'

what would she do ,she can't go home,she left

there to long ago,who would want her.

the strange man takes her hand,she feels numb,

he leads her to a cold dark alley,she prays let it be quick,

let him be kind,he stands her against the cold hard wall,

he lifts her dress as tears run down her face,

it IS over quickly,then a fist hits her hard between her eyes

she falls,then blessed darkness,

another man takes her hand,"he whispers,don't be afraid

you won't have to do this anymore,

she smiles as she walks with him into the light.

These are dolls I knitted, my niece sell them at her craft store

when God gave us you

he gave the best,

someone to watch over

all the rest,

He did'nt give you Angel wings

oh! but he gave you other things,

he gave you wisdom and a loving soul

he put in you a heart of gold,

In Heaven you are surely missed

but here on earth we love you sis.

CHILD OF THE UNIVERSE

When  i die don't weep for me

i am not dead i'm just set free,

only my body is of this earth

i'm only here because of birth,

for the Heavens above my soul do thirst

i am a child of the universe.

I long to soar the Heavenly sky

among the stars my soul would fly,

no more anguish ,no more tears

no more pain and no more fears,

for the Heavens above my soul do thirst

i am a child of the universe.

come fly with me ,come let us soar

we will be happy evermore,

far from the worries of this earth

far from the handicap of birth,

let us with our souls disperse

for we are children of the universe.

In Jesus eyes i saw such pity

was that pity Lord for me?

again i looked and there was sadness

were you sad O!Lord for me?

but than i looked a little closer

all his love was there for me,

In Jesus"hands i saw the nailprints

I looked at them and how i cried

oh!dear Jesus how you suffered

but it was for love you died.,

I heard footsteps in my darkness

I felt someone by my side

  then i whispered,''is that you Jesus''?  

he said ''yes my child it's I, 

He said ,''i know you're weary''

you carry such a heavy load

give me now i will take it

and walk with you down this road.
